A few notes

  • The Chiefs’ second injury report of the week came with plenty of good news regarding players who could return. Defensive end Mike Danna (calf) and kicker Harrison Butker (left ankle) – who were both limit Wednesday — practiced fully Thursday. More information on Special Teams Coordinator Dave Toub’s Butker can be found here.
  • Cornerback and special team member Chris Lammons (hip) was also full after faded away Wednesday training.
  • Defensive end Frank Clark (illness) missed training Thursday after trying to work Wednesday. Justin Reid (hand) was added to the injury report but still had a full practice.
  • As a reminder: Cornerback Trent McDuffie does not appear on the injury report until he is activated from injured reserve to the active roster, but he worked for the second straight day Wednesday.
  • The Bills saw status upgrades for old friend center Mitch Morse (elbow), defensive end DaQuan Jones (hip), outside linebacker Von Miller (vet rest) and cornerback Kaiir Elam (foot) Thursday. All four players have connected full practices.
  • Bills insider Chris Brown joined Arrowhead’s Pride “Interview Series” on Thursday afternoon, and he noted that the injuries to watch are linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (hamstring), defensive tackle Jordan Phillps (hamstring) and safety Jordan Poyer (ribs). The three difference makers for bills were limit for the second day of training in a row.
